Music Submission Policy

Ownership

Your music remains your intellectual property. We do not claim ownership of your works, we just showcase it. This means that we cannot sell or otherwise redistribute your music without your express permission.

Streaming Optimization

We may have to reduce the bitrate of your music before we stream it. This has many advantages to you and our visitors:

Music will stream better because the download size is smaller. This means chances are lower that the track would sound choppy while playing.
Visitors will not get the full quality version of your work so they would have to contact you for a high quality version.
Less server load so the website works better for everybody.

Removal

If you would like your material removed from this website just email contact@musicandting.com from the same email address that you gave when submitting the music. Ideally you should use the subject Music Removal and you may choose to give comments or reasons for your decision if you want to.

We also reserve the right to remove any songs/lyrics/beats without prior notice to the person who submitted it. We do not intend to do this but there are certain rare instances where this may be necessary. An example of this would be if we find out the person who submitted the music is not the creator of the music and submitted it without the creator's permission.
